It is with heavy hearts that Orléans Little League has learned of the passing of its past president, Gordon Crookston. He passed away on January 11th, 2023 in Toronto.

He is survived by his wife Rose and two sons Jonathan and Jeremy.

Gordon was the President of Orléans Little League for the better part of three decades. His hard work and dedication to the organization and community were second to none. We will work hard to ensure his legacy continues for many years.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rose and the family. Gordon was a good man. He will be missed.

Convenor Needed for 2023 OLLB Girls Division

Orleans Little League is looking for a volunteer to help run our Girl’s division.  The convenor plays an important part in ensuring that we are able to properly run this program.  Unfortunately without a convenor, there is the risk that this successful program will not be able to be offered this year.

CONVENOR – Girls Division

Reporting to the Vice-President – Baseball Operations, the convenor of the Girls Division will be responsible for ensuring the proper running of the Orleans Little League Girls program.  This is a new program established in 2022 which is offered to players that identify as girls, in the hopes of developing skills and making friends in an environment of inclusivity.  Teams in the Girls program play against other teams of similar ages and skill levels from across the city.

For further information about the full list of duties please contact the Vice-President – Baseball Operation by email at ollbvpbaseballops@outlook.com
